Electrical and Nuclear Properties of Quartz Ceramic Products
There are two types of quartz ceramic products, one is 1600 crystal strain time, and the other is 1200 strain time boron glass powder microcrystalline glass. It has the advantages of low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, and good thermal stability.Of course, there are still many good performance advantages during use.Today, let's take a look at its nuclear and electrical performance:
1.Electrical performance:The electrical performance of the product is very good. The resistance is also very high, and its dielectric constant is much lower than the change of dielectric loss tangent with temperature.High temperature ceramics such as alumina can be used as insulation materials and are also good materials for antenna covers.
2.Nuclear energy performance:The nuclear energy performance of the product is also very good.Generally, crystals will transform into amorphous phases under strong radiation, while glass is amorphous. The coefficient of thermal expansion is very small,so under radiation conditions, this structure is stable compared to other materials. In addition, the strength of this product is basically unaffected by nuclear radiation and has a low thermal group capture cross-section,making it widely used in the atomic industry and radiation laboratories.Because radiation can stabilize amorphous structures, its operating temperature can exceed the limit of general use, which is the temperature limit of mass crystallization.
Quartz ceramic products have the advantages of low thermal conductivity, small expansion coefficient, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, and low cost. They can be doped to have specific uses, which not only expands their application range but also drives the development of other related industries.
